Sorry, but in my not very humble opinion LOST is parapsychologic, sappy and pseudo thrilling dumb shit. Utter, utter shit.
Why didn't they make a series about nearly fifty people who stranded on a remote island? (And really, no, they didn't.) Post traumatic stress, struggles of oh so civilised people with nature and their own prejudices against each other could have ensued prettily. Nooo, they needed all this crap from an evil black fog to number magic. Why not pirates? Ninja? Hey, you could run the risk of being *boring*! *sigh*
I mean, come on. Twenty days go by without ANYbody building huts? (Except this pseudo tent which doesn't seem to have a single complete wall.) Building anything at all? Like bamboo lines for water to the beach?
And what about food? One hunter for nearly fifty mouths? Uh-huh, sure. Oh, and sometimes Kate goes in the jungle for, well, six or seven mangoes. And the spy grabs ten coconuts one day.
What do the people do all day who aren't the seven main characters? Watch the waves? Play tic tac toe? It's like the main characters share 4 brains and the rest of the flock don't have any. And by the way, it's not very believable what massive issues every main character has. Responsible for the death of a loved one? Cool, me too!
And sometimes we see some idyllic shots of greenery, and the only thing that carries the suspense of the situation is the music, which is like a five inch cheese crust on a low fat pizza. Way too thickly piled onto everything.
It's not a good sign when we say "Oh, they're going to pray in a few moments..." and they do.
What would oloriel call it? Right. "Scheissendrreck."

Warum fändest du das seltsam, wenn ich ehrlich gesagt nur marginal daran interessiert bin, warum jemand, der etwas toll findet, was ich scheiße finde, meine Meinung nicht sinnvoll findet?
Weiss nicht, ich faende es eben komisch. Passt vielleicht nicht so in meine Welt. Weil, mich interessiert, was du daran nicht magst. bin irgendwie neugierig. Wahrscheinlich einer unserer zahllosen Kommunikationsunterschiede.

Den Aspekt mit "es ist nicht selbstverstaendlich, dass man seine Meinung sagen darf" habe ich wohl einfach falsch verstanden. Aber ja, du hast recht, es ist kein Forum, sondern ein Journal. Entschuldige, mein Fehler.
Vielleicht wollte ich einfach nur ein Gespraech.

Und: Nicht "falsch" verstanden/gesehen/durchdacht, nur "anders". Wenn das anders rueberkam, tut mir das auch leid. Ich versuche, in meinem Privatleben die Benotung "falsch" fuer Lebensstil/Geschmack/Sichtweise anderer auszumerzen, deshalb meine Einstellung "to each his own". (Als komplett unrelatedes Beispiel meine Cousine, die mit 20 ihr 2. ungewolltes Kind hatte: Fuer mcih absolut horrible, aber ich glaube sie mag ihr Leben, also: To each her own.)


Im Grunde sehe ich deinen ersten comment schon so, dass du nicht deine Meinung zur Serie sagst, sondern deine Meinung zu meiner Meinung.

Ich habe jetzt ehrlich gesagt gerade meinen comment nicht vor mir, weil man bei deinem LJ nur den Comment sieht, auf den man gerade kommentiert, also weiss ich nicht meine Wortwahl. Aber den Eindruck hatte ich eigentlich nicht.
Mag sein, dass ich zuviele Worte (und zu viele deiner Worte, aber dafuer hab ich schon einen Grund genannt: Bequemlichkeit) benutzt habe; das naechste Mal werde ich mich mit einem "Seh ich anders" oder "Seh ich genau so" begnuegen.
