Früher musste man sich aktiv um Kommunikation bemühen. Heutzutage muss man Kommunikation aktiv verweigern, wenn man einmal eine Pause haben möchte. Aber anders als damals, wo es erwünscht war, zu kommunizieren, muß man sich heute vielmals entschuldigen und mit guten Erklärungen abmelden, wenn man mal seine Ruhe haben möchte. Man ist verpflichtet, erreichbar und kommunikationswillig zu sein. Wie unfair.

In the old days one had to actively search for means of communication. Nowadays one has to actively refuse communication if one wants a break. But even as then communication was a very good thing, now we have to excuse us profusely and have very good explanations if we want a little peace and quiet. We have to be available and happy to communicate, whenever, wherever. How unfair.
