Herbstbad / autumn bath

Ich habe heute im Herbst gebadet.
Es war kühl und die Sonne schien. Das Wasser roch nach gelber Kindheit, und meine Katze spielte mit dem Schaum.
Als ich in der Ferne einen Güterzug durch die Stadt rattern hörte, dachte ich an das utopische Haus an den Schienen, dass in diesem Sommer noch einmal eine Weile leben durfte, bevor sie es ermordeten.
Ich werde nicht hingehen, um mir seine Leiche anzuschauen.
Jetzt ist der Himmel bleigrau, und Sonnensplitter jagen über meine Wände.

I took a bath in autumn today.
The air was chilly and the sun was shining. The water smelled like yellow childhood, and my cat played with the bubbles.
As I heard a goods train rumble through the city in a distant, I thought of the utopic house at the train tracks, which was able to live again this summer, before they murdered it.
I will not go there and look at its corpse.
Now the sky is leaden and shards of the sun race each other on my walls.
