Failed heroness
Jul. 20th, 2006 12:01 amOkay, I admit, I overdid it. No, I didn't make it.
Yes, okay, the intermediate exam went well, the job does, too, the dog I'm dog-sitting right now is a happy little camper and the paper I submitted today is one to be proud of (especially if you consider that I just had three days for it). And Kopenhagen was just marvelous.
But I didn't have any social life outside this apartement (aside from Kopenhagen, which was just marvelous)(yes, I know I said that already), not even per lj. And I didn't make the deadline for the second paper, which was due today, too.
I'm a hero, nonetheless. I'll have to take the exam next semester again, but just pro forma, the actual grade stands. And, really, who thought that through? Let people only hand in the certificates of this semster until this friday? I mean, come on, the only ones who *have* to do that are the ones who wrote a frigging intermediate exam two weeks ago! And the semster ended last week. Hellooo? One week to write all the missing papers?
And yeah, some students actually have to work on the side.
Aaaanyway. I'm dead tired, but I'm back. Uhm. Tomorrow. All the comments and emails to answer to, all the nice things waiting for me on my to-do-list...
Tomorrow my family will arrive here, and then there will be a flea market to organise - right! I forgot! Anybody coming, too?
oloriel?
shiverdl?
malicedl? And
seaspawn? Still coming? - a wedding to cater too and of course family and a dog to keep happy.
Hmmm. Damn, this filled to the brim semester just doesn't end, it seems. I was sooo studious! I'm really proud. Oh yeah, if anybody would like to read the paper about internet art I handed in today, it's here. Sadly, german, of course.
And seen at
anglepoiselamps journal while skippen through my flist, which is always a good place to look for some links to make you smile: A fox on a trampoline. *ded of cuteness and studiousness*
