zu gut für ihn / too good for him
May. 21st, 2003 05:00 pmSo, yes, I fell from my bike. At full speed.
The street was very wet, my bike was heavy loaded and swayed a little, my glasses had rain drops on them and my mind was somewhere else.
No helmet either.
And then there were rails.
My bike got stuck and stood abruptly totally still.
I fell forward and to the left, and I just thought: Not on the knee! So I tried to safe my knee... and landed on the head instead. My shoulder took a hit, too, and my knee got what was left over from the impact, not really much.
For two full seconds or so I just laid there and whimpered, then I stood and went home by foot, rolling the bike beside me.
My boycat whined at me, when I got there, because he saw and heard me weeping and whining.
I made an ice pack for my head and went to bed.
Barclay purred into my right ear. I think he knew that I hurt.
I had a swelling the size of half a tennis ball.
That was two days ago.
The swelling is better, but now I've got a black eye, too.
My left arm hurts like a bitch, got a contusion there.
My knee is back to hurting like usual.
Saw the doctor, yes I did.
Today I had to work, and all the people on the streets were pointedly _not_ staring.
And the people at work where all like grinning and: "You're too good for him, you know?"
Oh, Ha, Ha. ^_^
I thought a lot about future plans these last days.
I have to decide what to do, know, that I eliminated everything in my life that hindered me.
What to do with my hair, with my debts, my time, my talents.
We cut and dyed Kan-chans hair, looks sooooo cute.
*loves it*
And I really wanna have a good german word for 'snicker'.
Girls giggle.
Guys snicker.
I wanna say that in german too. We just have a giggle-word.
