Wow. I am just exhausted from reading. Thanks for the very interesting entry. Prof.S. seems to be a... well, one the one hand I think she is terrible saying all these things about people and places to you on your first day and than this "to vage"/ make your dovtor know - "suggestion" sounds more like a standard reply from her, specially if she does not recall your main point. Prof. E. liked it and you have already enough for a master thesis. Well, you know all that.
On the other she seems nice and could be certainly of help if her enthusiasm meets with your goals.

Glad you could fix Phoenix and should a cockroach get in and you happen to be barefoot - do only step on it with your heel! Kills them for sure and you don't want it the other way.

To P.P.S.: that is why I had him even visit Henry and me this morning and cuddle in my bed for a looong, relaxed stroking session. :-)
